Right Honorable James Marape, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea celebrated and hosted Papua New Guinea's 44th Independence celebration at the National Parliament in the nations capital.
This was the first of its kind hosted for about 150 guests on the Tambaran front. The night saw beautiful images projected on the iconic Parliament Haus using video mapping and legendary PNG music artists entertaining guests.
Our Prime Minister gave a moving speech where he acknowledged the challenges we face as a country but also the fact that we are still very young but how much we have accomplished thus far - from living in the ''dark ages'' to now living in the digital world.
